Brownsville ISD and Schneider Electric have partnered on a progressive energy efficiency and capital reinvestment project that will enhance the BISD facilities, save the district money on utilities, and improve the overall learning environment for students.

Brownsville ISD has chosen to partner with the energy and sustainability expert Schneider Electric on an energy efficiency project to demonstrate the district's commitment to creating an improved learning environment for students.
Schneider Electric’s unique approach to energy efficiency projects enables school districts such as Brownsville ISD to save money on utilities and reinvest it back into its schools. A partnership with Schneider Electric provides school districts an opportunity to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability throughout their district. BISD and Schneider Electric are committed to student engagement and advocate for project-based learning. Faculty and staff are continuously looking for opportunities to take things outside of the classroom to provide an innovative and fun learning environment for students. Schneider recently hostled two student engagement events at BISD.
